In PM...helped facilitate Hyannis Roadrunners track workout...with about 15-20 runners. They did the following:
- ~2mi up...some did a bit more...
- on track...6 x 4mins w/2min recovery...some jogged a bit
Group was instructed to run at 30min race pace but most went a bit faster. Could be they were feeling more confident after their 3 x 10mins of last week...or they were doing these like Yasso 800's and wanted to hit optimistic times. Regardless, they looked quite good. Paces during the intervals ranged from about 6:40 per mile to slightly over 8:00 per mile. They are not world class...but they train like very dedicated and seasoned runners.
