Actually...I started this yesterday and found myself running 9:00-9:20 per mile at the 123bpm heart rate...so it seems like the re-booting is working. The "180 minus your age" method of Dr Phil Maffetone...my old coach...is a very stress-free way to train. When you are done with a workout, you feel very fresh and invigorated. Sometimes it's annoying if your aerobic system is off a bit...because you end up having to run quite slowly.
After running - a little strength work:
4x3 hex-bar deadlift (170,190,200,200lbs)...with a little speed
2x10 reverse barbell lunges (45,65lbs)
1x22 pull-ups...not quite max but getting close
