- 16-17mins easy
- 4 x ~100m strides
- 4 x 30secs @3K race effort with 1min jog recoveries
- ~3min jog to small hill
- 5 x 10 secs uphill sprints...smooth...not all out with walking recovery
- 6-7mins easy jog
I don't know how we'll feel at tomorrow's race, but we certainly felt good after the workout. The idea is to fire up the nervous system a bit...without creating any fatigue. It's meant to eliminate the feeling of sluggishness that sometimes accompanies the light training...or days off...before a race. We'll see how it goes.
