Planned to skip running today but couldn't resist Bobby's invitation. Also, wanted to see for myself how well Bobby is doing with his running. He's been very patient and dedicated. He runs 3 days a week and does gym/strength work 3 days. He takes one day off. Most of his running is at 70-80% of his max heart rate. He usually wears a heart monitor. But he also sprinkles in a bit of quick stuff here and there...in very small doses. Workouts usually last 45-60mins and always include regular walk breaks. He's doing very well. His endurance has improved significantly and it seems he's still very strong. The moderate and balanced approach seems to be working very well.
PM - F500 - circuit training:
5mins incline walking (15%, 3.2mph)
then 3 rounds of the following:
12 GHD sit-ups
18mins Steam Room
