12 walking lunges
Had running group of ~ a dozen runners or so do the following workout:
2mi up, 5x5mins @~30min race pace ( a pace you can hold for at least 30mins if you had to) w/2min recovery, cool-down.
Probably longest workout they've done but most of the group are doing marathons this Fall...and I believe a few are doing ultramarathons...so this was a good session. Made sure they settled into the correct pace. For most, it was a bit
slower than 5K race pace. This kind of workout is also very good for half marathon preparation.
Interested to see how everyone recovers and does with their long runs this weekend. Should be fine.
